Saxifraga × arendsii 'Marto White'
Saxifraga × arendsii 'Marto White' is a compact, mat-forming alpine perennial that produces dense cushions of finely divided, mossy green evergreen foliage. Its low, spreading habit provides attractive texture and structure throughout the year.
From March to May, masses of delicate white flowers appear on short stems above the foliage, creating a bright carpet of spring colour. The crisp blooms contrast beautifully with the fresh green leaves and provide a long-lasting seasonal display.
Ideal for rockeries, walls, alpine troughs, gravel gardens, containers and the front of borders, this hardy variety is easy to grow and requires little maintenance. It thrives in full sun or partial shade and well-drained soil.
