Harvest haricot beans

Leave a few French beans to ripen and mature to enjoy a secondary harvest of shelling beans, also known as haricots. Once the pods are brown and papery dry you can shell the beans inside and store in airtight containers. Soak overnight and cook thoroughly before enjoying in stews and soups.
