Topdressing

If you have recently laid a new lawn with turf then you will need to top dress it with a mixture suitable for your soil. If your lawn is laid on heavy soil use 1 part peat, 2 parts loam and 4 parts sand. For loamy soil use 1 part peat, 4 parts loam and 2 parts sand; and on sandy soil use 2 parts peat, 4 parts loam and 1 part sand.;
