Trim wisteria

Give wisteria its winter pruning, cutting back young shoots to within two or three buds of last year's growth to encourage lots of flowering shoots this spring. Make sure you cut cleanly, at an angle sloping in the same direction as the bud, and finish off with a good thick mulch.
