Saxifraga × arendsii 'Alpino Early White'
Saxifraga × arendsii 'Alpino Early White' is a compact, early-flowering perennial producing masses of crisp white flowers from early to late spring. Slender stems hold the blooms above neat cushions of fresh green foliage, creating a bright seasonal display.
Ideal for rockeries, raised beds, wall crevices and patio containers, its cushion-forming habit adds texture to small planting spaces. The flowers attract early pollinating insects and combine beautifully with spring bulbs and other alpines.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in a cool position with partial shade or gentle sun. Protect from strong midday sunshine and avoid allowing the roots to dry out during warm weather. Remove faded flower stems to keep the cushions tidy and avoid waterlogged conditions, particularly in winter.
