Primula Bonneli Series 'Orange'
Primrose Bonneli Series 'Orange' is a compact perennial primrose producing bright orange single flowers above neat rosettes of textured, dark green foliage. Its warm colouring brings a cheerful splash of colour to seasonal planting and contrasts beautifully with blue and purple violas.
An early-flowering member of the Bonneli Series, 'Orange' provides welcome colour from winter into early spring. Its tidy, low-growing habit makes it particularly useful for patio pots, window boxes, seasonal bedding and border edges. Plant in groups for a stronger display or combine with miniature spring bulbs and trailing evergreen foliage.
Hardy and easy to grow, this evergreen perennial prefers sun or partial shade in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Keep container compost evenly moist and remove faded flowers regularly to maintain a tidy appearance. After flowering, plants can be moved into a suitable garden border for future seasons.
