Primula Bonneli Series 'Cornish Cream'

Primula Bonneli Series 'Purple'

Primrose Bonneli Series 'Purple' is a compact, early-flowering primrose producing fragrant purple blooms above neat rosettes of dark green foliage. Part of the Bonneli Series, it can begin flowering as early as November and continue into early spring, bringing welcome colour through the colder months.

Its low-growing, clump-forming habit makes it ideal for patio pots, window boxes and seasonal bedding, as well as the front of borders. The colourful flowers stand out against the textured leaves and combine beautifully with winter-flowering pansies, violas and small spring bulbs for attractive seasonal displays.

Hardy and easy to grow, this evergreen perennial prefers full sun or partial shade in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Keep container compost evenly moist and remove faded flowers to maintain a tidy display. After flowering, plants can be moved into a suitable garden border to enjoy in future seasons.
