Primula Bonneli Series 'Appleblossom'
Primrose Bonneli Series 'Appleblossom' is a compact, semi-evergreen perennial producing soft pink flowers with deeper pink markings around bright yellow centres. The single blooms sit just above neat rosettes of textured green foliage, creating a delicate two-tone display during the cooler months.
Flowering from winter into early spring, this early Bonneli selection brings welcome colour to patio pots, window boxes, seasonal bedding and border edges. Its low-growing habit allows the flowers to be appreciated up close, while the gentle pink shades combine beautifully with white violas, miniature spring bulbs and trailing ivy.
Hardy and easy to grow, 'Appleblossom' prefers sun or partial shade in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Keep container compost evenly moist and remove faded flowers regularly to maintain a tidy appearance. After flowering, plants can be moved into a suitable garden border for future seasons.
