Pinus mugo 'Mops'
Pinus mugo 'Mops' is a compact dwarf conifer forming a dense, rounded mound of rich dark green foliage. Its short needles create a neat, textured appearance and provide reliable evergreen structure throughout the year.
Fresh new growth may display an attractive silvery tint before maturing to deep green. Its naturally bushy, slow-growing habit remains tidy with minimal maintenance, making it particularly suitable for smaller planting spaces.
Ideal for rockeries, gravel gardens, alpine planting and patio containers, 'Mops' thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Growing by approximately 5-10cm each year, it develops steadily while remaining compact and manageable.
