Pinus 'Carsten's Wintergold' is a dwarf evergreen conifer forming a neat, rounded mound of soft needles. Its compact, bushy habit provides dependable structure and texture throughout the year.
The foliage remains fresh green during spring and summer before developing a brilliant golden-yellow colour in winter. This striking seasonal transformation brings valuable brightness to the garden during the coldest months.
Ideal for rockeries, gravel gardens, alpine planting and patio containers, 'Carsten's Wintergold' thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Growing by approximately 3-5cm each year, it remains compact and requires very little maintenance.
