Kniphofia citrina
Kniphofia citrina is a graceful red hot poker producing elegant, slender spikes of soft lemon-yellow flowers above clumps of narrow, arching green foliage. The delicate blooms create a lighter, more refined effect than many traditional kniphofias while still providing strong vertical interest in the border.
Flowering through summer, this hardy perennial is well suited to sunny borders, prairie-style planting and wildlife-friendly gardens. The nectar-rich flowers attract bees and other pollinators, while the architectural foliage provides structure throughout the growing season.
