Ligularia dentata 'Pandora' is a compact, eye-catching perennial grown for its dramatic dark purple-black foliage and vibrant golden-yellow daisy-like flowers. This dwarf variety brings bold colour and texture to shaded borders, woodland gardens and patio containers throughout the growing season.
Forming neat mounds of glossy, deeply coloured leaves, 'Pandora' creates an attractive focal point even before flowering begins. In mid to late summer, clusters of bright yellow blooms rise above the foliage, creating a striking contrast that also attracts bees and other pollinating insects.
Thriving in reliably moist soil, this compact selection is ideal for smaller gardens where the impact of traditional Ligularia varieties may be too large. It performs particularly well beside ponds, streams and in damp, partially shaded positions.
