Erica × darleyensis 'Kramer's Rote'
Erica × darleyensis 'Kramer's Rote' is a vigorous evergreen heather producing masses of small, bell-shaped magenta-pink flowers from autumn through to late spring. The blooms deepen in colour as they mature, creating a long-lasting display against fine, needle-like foliage.
This variety also provides attractive foliage interest, with pink-tipped new growth in spring and warm bronze tones developing through winter. Its spreading, bushy habit makes it ideal for borders, slopes, rock gardens and containers, while the long flowering season brings valuable colour during the colder months.
Hardy, adaptable and low maintenance, this heather performs well in a wide range of well-drained soils. Light pruning after flowering in May will help maintain a neat, bushy shape and encourage dense new growth.
