Erica carnea 'Isabell'
Erica carnea 'Isabell' is a compact evergreen heather producing masses of delicate white flowers from late winter into early spring. The blooms are carried in short racemes along upright shoots, bringing welcome colour to the garden during the quieter months of the year.
This variety forms a low, spreading mound of dark green foliage that remains attractive throughout the year. Its neat habit makes it ideal for rock gardens, alpine planting, border edges and groundcover beneath shrubs and trees.
Hardy, reliable and easy to grow, this heather performs well in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. Erica carnea is adaptable to a range of soil types and is particularly useful for adding winter interest to low-maintenance planting schemes.
