Erica x darleyensis 'Ghost Hills'
Erica 'Ghost Hills' is a compact, low-growing evergreen shrub that provides valuable winter colour in the garden. From midwinter into early spring, it produces a mass of small, urn-shaped flowers in soft pink-purple, which stand out brightly against its fine, dark green foliage. The flowers are nectar-rich, offering an early source of food for bees and other pollinators.
With its neat, spreading habit, ‘Ghost Hills’ is ideal for edging paths, planting in drifts, or filling gaps at the front of borders. It also performs beautifully in containers or rock gardens, where its winter flowers can be admired up close. Hardy and easy to grow, it thrives in acidic, well-drained soil and requires little maintenance once established.
