Echinacea purpurea 'Meditation Lime'
Echinacea purpurea 'Meditation Lime' is an attractive, long-flowering coneflower producing masses of fresh lime-green, daisy-like flowers above sturdy green foliage. Its unusual colouring brings a cool, contemporary look to summer planting schemes.
Flowering from July to October, 'Meditation Lime' provides a dependable display from midsummer well into autumn. The nectar-rich blooms are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects and are also excellent for cutting.
Easy to grow and generally trouble-free, this reliable perennial thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It is ideal for sunny borders, prairie-style planting, wildlife gardens and cut flower displays.
