Dianthus 'Arctic Star'
Dianthus 'Arctic Star' is a charming evergreen perennial producing masses of fully double, ice-white flowers above neat cushions of silvery-grey foliage. The blooms carry a delightful clove-like fragrance, making this variety a wonderful choice for adding both beauty and scent to the garden.
Its compact habit makes it ideal for edging borders, alpine beds, rockeries, pots and patio containers. Flowering freely through the warmer months, it creates a striking contrast against darker foliage plants and gravel gardens.
Easy to grow and drought tolerant once established, 'Arctic Star' performs best in a sunny position with well-drained soil, where it will provide years of reliable colour and fragrance.
