Thalictrum 'Splendide White' is a graceful meadow rue producing masses of sparkling white flowers held high on strong, upright stems. Larger than those of many other varieties, the delicate blooms create a light, cloud-like effect that brings elegance, movement and brightness to the summer border.
Flowering freely throughout summer, this exceptionally floriferous perennial provides a long-lasting display while attracting bees and other pollinating insects. Its airy flowers appear to float above the finely divided foliage, adding height and texture without overwhelming neighbouring plants, making it an excellent companion for mixed herbaceous planting.
With its sturdy, compact habit, 'Splendide White' is perfect for sunny or partially shaded borders and performs equally well in large patio containers. The long, graceful stems are also superb for fresh cut flower arrangements, where their delicate blooms add softness and natural elegance.
