Crocosmia 'George Davison' is a bright and cheerful perennial producing masses of warm golden-yellow, funnel-shaped flowers on gently arching stems. The blooms stand out beautifully above upright clumps of fresh green, sword-like foliage.
Flowering from July to September, 'George Davison' provides valuable late-summer colour and brings warmth and movement to borders and mixed planting schemes. The nectar-rich flowers are also attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.
Easy to grow in full sun or light shade, this reliable variety is ideal for cottage gardens, mixed borders and naturalistic planting. Its strong flowering stems are also excellent for cutting and adding vibrant colour to indoor arrangements.
