Coreopsis 'Lil Bang Starlight' is a compact, bushy perennial producing masses of distinctive daisy-like flowers. Each creamy-yello bloom features a bold burgundy-red star around a warm golden-yellow centre, creating an eye-catching two-tone display.
Flowering for a long period from summer into autumn, 'Starlight' brings reliable colour to the garden over several months. The burgundy markings may deepen during cooler weather, while the nectar-rich flowers attract bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
Its neat, clump-forming habit makes this variety ideal for sunny beds, border edges, gravel gardens and patio containers. Easy to grow in fertile, well-drained soil, regular deadheading will help encourage a continuous succession of flowers.
