Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Ellwood's Gold'
Chamaecyparis 'Ellwood's Gold' is an upright, evergreen conifer prized for its dense, conical habit and glowing golden foliage. Its fine, feathery sprays of bright lime-green foliage tipped with gold, bring year-round colour and structure, making it a superb choice for mixed borders, containers, or as an accent plant in smaller gardens.
This slow-growing variety is neat and compact, requiring little maintenance and naturally forming a tidy shape without the need for clipping. Its vibrant foliage colour remains strong throughout the year, even in winter, adding warmth to the landscape. Hardy and reliable, it makes an excellent feature plant or can be used in pairs to frame entrances.
