Veronica 'First Lady'
Veronica 'First Lady' is a compact and elegant perennial producing upright spikes of pure white flowers from early summer onwards. Rising above neat mounds of fresh apple-green foliage, the crisp blooms create a bright and sophisticated display that complements both traditional and contemporary garden schemes.
Its compact habit makes it an excellent choice for patio containers, smaller gardens and the front or middle of sunny borders, where the flower spikes provide valuable vertical interest without overwhelming neighbouring plants. The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
Easy to grow and reliable, 'First Lady' thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, flowering over a long period and combining beautifully with ornamental grasses and colourful summer perennials.
