Trollius chinensis 'Golden Queen'
Globe Flower 'Golden Queen' is a striking hardy perennial valued for its large, upward-facing golden-orange flowers. Blooming from late spring into early summer, the glowing cup-shaped flowers rise above the foliage and bring strong colour and structure to the garden.
Deeply cut, rich green leaves form an attractive clump beneath the flowers and provide texture throughout the growing season. Its bold colouring makes 'Golden Queen' especially effective in mixed perennial borders, damp planting schemes and alongside other moisture-loving plants.
Thriving in fertile, consistently moist soil, 'Golden Queen' is ideal for bog gardens, pond margins and reliably watered borders. It can also be grown in patio containers when kept evenly moist, making it a versatile choice for bringing bright seasonal colour to wetter garden situations.
