Trachelospermum asiaticum 'Chili & Vanilla' is a unique evergreen climber producing masses of highly fragrant, star-shaped yellow flowers throughout the summer. The glossy evergreen foliage provides year-round interest, while the scented blooms attract bees and other pollinating insects.
As the flowers fade in autumn, they are followed by unusual ornamental seed pods that resemble vanilla pods before maturing to a striking red, giving the appearance of chillies. Perfect for training over arches, obelisks, pergolas or warm sheltered walls, this drought-tolerant climber adds colour, fragrance and architectural interest to the garden.
