A golden form of the popular 'Smaragd', this variety combines the same tidy structure and even growth with enhanced seasonal colour. Its soft, aromatic foliage naturally maintains a neat outline, making it ideal for adding height to small rockeries, creating a low narrow hedge or bringing structure to formal borders.
Hardy and low maintenance, 'Golden Smaragd' performs best in full sun, where its golden colouring will be most vibrant. Plant it in fertile, moist but well-drained soil for a dependable evergreen feature that requires little pruning to retain its attractive shape.
