Thuja 'Golden Smaragd' is a compact, upright evergreen Conifer with a narrow, pyramid habit and glowing golden foliage. Providing vivid colour throughout the year with a rich deeper fold colour in winter, it offers a bright vertical accent in borders, rockeries, and formal plantings. The soft, aromatic foliage holds its neat shape naturally, requiring little to no pruning. Use to give height to a small rockery or form a low, narrow hedge.
A golden form of the popular ‘Smaragd’ (or ‘Emerald Green’), this variety combines the same tidy structure and slow, even growth with enhanced year-round colour. Hardy and low-maintenance, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, providing lasting structure and warmth in the garden.
