Stipa tenuissima is a graceful ornamental grass, valued for its fine, hair-like foliage and constant movement in the breeze. Fresh light green in spring, the leaves gradually turn a soft golden colour as the season progresses, creating a warm, natural look in the garden.
From late spring into summer, delicate, silky flower plumes rise above the foliage, catching the light and swaying beautifully in even the slightest wind.
