Miscanthus sinensis 'Lady in Red'
Miscanthus sinensis 'Lady in Red' is a striking ornamental grass valued for its dramatic seasonal colour. Fresh purple-green foliage emerges in spring before transforming into rich crimson and scarlet tones in autumn, creating a spectacular display late in the gardening season.
From September, elegant silvery-white flower plumes rise above the foliage, adding texture, movement and winter interest. Perfect for mixed borders, prairie-style planting, gravel gardens and large containers, this hardy, low-maintenance grass thrives in full sun and is resistant to most pests and diseases.
