Skimmia japonica 'Temptation White' (F)
Skimmia japonica 'Temptation White' (F) is a compact female evergreen shrub producing fragrant white flowers in spring followed, when pollinated, by unusual glossy white berries that provide striking winter interest. Its dark green foliage gives the plant year-round structure and makes an attractive backdrop to the pale fruit.
Also known as 'O'Berry White', this distinctive Skimmia is particularly useful for shaded borders, winter containers and seasonal displays. For reliable berry production, plant a suitable male Skimmia nearby to provide pollination.
Hardy, easy to grow and low maintenance, 'Temptation White' performs best in partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Its compact habit makes it ideal for smaller gardens and containers where winter colour can be enjoyed at close range.
