Saxifraga x urbium 'Clarence Elliott'
Saxifraga x urbium 'Clarence Elliott' is a resilient, mat-forming evergreen perennial that creates neat cushions of attractive spoon-shaped green foliage. In late spring and early summer, slender red stems rise above the leaves carrying masses of delicate pink-white, star-shaped flowers.
Perfect for rockeries, alpine gardens, borders and the front of beds, this easy-to-grow variety thrives in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Its compact habit makes it an excellent ground cover, while the long-lasting floral display brings colour and texture to the garden. This reliable performer has been recognised with the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit.
