Saxifraga × arendsii 'Pixie White'
Saxifraga × arendsii 'Pixie White' is a compact, cushion-forming alpine perennial with very finely divided green foliage. Its low, spreading habit creates a dense mat that provides attractive texture in rockeries and smaller planting spaces.
During spring, masses of short-stemmed sprays rise above the foliage, carrying an abundance of crisp white single flowers. The bright blooms create a fresh carpet of seasonal colour and are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.
Perfect for rockeries, walls, banks, alpine troughs, pots and containers, this easy-to-grow variety is particularly effective when planted between stones or used to soften hard landscaping. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil.
