Santolina chamaecyparissus is an aromatic, evergreen shrub with a naturally compact habit, forming dense mounds of finely divided silver-grey foliage. In summer, it is topped with masses of vibrant yellow button-like flowers, creating a striking contrast against the silvery leaves.
