Sansevieria trifasciata 'Canary'
Sansevieria 'Canary' is a striking snake plant with upright, sword-shaped leaves in vibrant golden-yellow, accented by subtle green variegation. Its bright foliage brings a contemporary splash of colour to homes and offices while maintaining the tough, low-maintenance nature for which snake plants are renowned.
Slow growing and highly architectural, 'Canary' forms neat clumps that suit modern interiors, requiring very little care once established. Exceptionally tolerant of a wide range of light conditions and infrequent watering, it is an excellent choice for beginners and busy plant owners looking for year-round foliage interest.

Sansevieria Care Sheet
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but is highly adaptable, tolerating low light and some direct sun. Brighter conditions help maintain the strongest leaf colour.
Water: Allow the compost to dry out completely before watering. Water sparingly, especially during autumn and winter, as overwatering is the most common cause of problems.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining cactus or succulent compost. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength.
Humidity: Average household humidity is ideal. No additional humidity is required.
Pruning and propagation: Remove damaged leaves at the base as required. Propagate by division or leaf cuttings, although division is recommended to preserve the cultivar's colouring.
