Salvia x superba 'Merleau™ White'
Salvia x superba 'Merleau™ White' is a compact, clump-forming perennial producing dense spikes of pure white flowers above aromatic green foliage. Its neat, upright habit creates a fresh and elegant display from early summer onwards.
The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, making 'Merleau™ White' a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly gardens. Its clean white colouring also makes it easy to combine with grasses, roses and other summer-flowering perennials.
Best grown in full sun in well-drained soil, this hardy Salvia is drought tolerant once established and works particularly well in borders, gravel gardens and patio containers. Removing faded flower spikes will encourage further blooms and help extend the flowering season.
