Rudbeckia hirta SmileyZ™ 'Big Cheerleader' is a bold, free-flowering variety producing masses of large golden-yellow, daisy-like flowers with prominent dark brown central cones. Its cheerful colouring creates a bright, eye-catching display throughout the warmer months.
Flowering from June to October, 'Big Cheerleader' provides an exceptionally long season of colour. The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, while the sturdy stems also make the blooms excellent for cutting.
Compact, well-branched and easy to grow, this colourful Rudbeckia is ideal for sunny beds, mixed borders and patio containers. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil and is particularly effective for extending garden colour well into autumn.
