Rose 'Diamond Dad'
Rose 'Diamond Dad' is a free-flowering Ground Cover Rose producing generous clusters of pure white, double rosette blooms. Its softly ruffled flowers bring brightness to the garden and repeat throughout summer and into autumn.
The low, spreading growth and healthy foliage make this variety a useful choice for covering the front of borders or softening the edge of a path. It also grows well in large patio containers, where the white flowers complement a wide range of planting colours.
With its thoughtful name and lasting garden appeal, 'Diamond Dad' makes a lovely gift for a father or a meaningful living tribute. Plant in a sunny position with well-drained soil and remove faded blooms to encourage further flowers.

Getting the most from your new Rose
Where to plant
Choose an open, sunny position with free-draining soil. Avoid planting where roses have grown before or transfer fresh soil to the site. HT & Floribunda roses can be planted in mixed borders or alongside other roses.
Planting
Roses love organic matter, so mix well-rotten manure, leaf mould or compost into the soil. Water thoroughly before planting. Make a hole big enough not to disturb the root ball. Remove from the pot and ensure the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil. Back-fill soil mixed with a good fertilizer, then firm. Water thoroughly.
Aftercare
Water well until established. Mulching will keep the soil weed-free and moist. For best results feed your roses with fertilizer in spring and again in summer. Remove faded flowers to encourage speedy repeat flowering.
Simple Pruning
Prune your rose in March or before new growth by removing and dead or very thin branches and reducing the height by 1/3 to 2/3 of the previous growth.
