Rhododendron pemakoense 'Snipe'
Rhododendron pemakoense 'Snipe' is a charming dwarf rhododendron valued for its early flowering and neat, spreading habit. It forms a low mound of glossy mid-green evergreen foliage that remains attractive throughout the year, providing structure even outside the flowering season.
In early spring, elegant funnel-shaped flowers open in soft shades of pink to lilac, bringing gentle colour and interest to the garden after winter. Fully hardy and easy to grow, ‘Snipe’ is well suited to containers, rockeries and the front of borders, particularly in smaller gardens or woodland-style planting schemes. Its flowers are also attractive to bees, making it a valuable early nectar source.
