Rhododendron pemakoense 'Snipe'
Rhododendron pemakoense 'Snipe' is a charming dwarf evergreen shrub with a naturally low, spreading habit. Its glossy mid-green foliage forms a neat mound that provides colour and structure throughout the year.
In early spring, elegant funnel-shaped flowers open in soft shades of pink to lilac. The delicate blooms bring welcome colour to the garden after winter and are attractive to bees and other early pollinators.
Plant in a sheltered position with partial shade or light sun and acidic, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Hardy and reliable in suitable conditions, 'Snipe' is ideal for smaller gardens, containers, rockeries and the front of borders.
