Rhododendron impeditum 'Azurika'
Rhododendron impeditum 'Azurika' is a compact dwarf evergreen shrub producing masses of vivid blue-purple flowers in late spring. The intensely coloured blooms create a striking contrast against its small, aromatic green leaves.
Its neat, bushy habit provides year-round structure without taking up too much space. This makes 'Azurika' particularly suitable for rockeries, alpine troughs, raised beds, containers and the front of smaller borders.
Plant in full sun or partial shade in acidic, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Naturally compact and easy to maintain, its colourful flowers are also attractive to bees and other pollinators.
