Rhododendron dauricum 'April Reign'
Rhododendron dauricum 'April Reign' is a compact, upright rhododendron that brings gentle pastel colour to the garden in early to mid-spring. Flowering throughout April, it produces clusters of elegant, double light pink blooms, each with a softly paler centre that adds depth and refinement to the display.
Its dense, rounded habit makes it ideal for borders, woodland gardens and foundation planting, while its small, deep green semi-evergreen leaves provide year-round structure. In autumn, the foliage takes on attractive reddish-bronze tones, extending seasonal interest. Best grown in moist but well-drained, acidic soil in a sheltered position with sun or partial shade.
