Raspberry 'Summer Chef'® is a vigorous summer-fruiting raspberry noted for its robust growth, excellent yield, intense raspberry fragrance and wonderfully balanced sugar/acidic taste. It produces large, dark red berries from mid to late summer, filling the gap between early summer and autumn raspberries
The plant has strong, healthy canes and fairly low susceptibility to cane diseases. It tends to grow upright and compact, making it suitable for supported rows or cane systems.
