Rubus idaeus 'Glen Lyon'
Raspberry 'Glen Lyon' is an early–mid season variety producing large, long, firm red berries from July to August with an intensely sweet flavour. The fruits have an excellent shelf life and are perfect for eating fresh from the cane, cooking into desserts, making raspberry jam or gin, or freezing for later use.
With good resistance to aphid-borne viruses, cane botrytis, and leaf spot, ‘Glen Lyon’ is a reliable and healthy grower. The canes are less spiny than many other varieties, making harvesting easier. Originating from Scotland, this trusted variety performs well in UK gardens and allotments.

- All varieties are self-fertile and are pollinated by insects.
- If you would like to eat the fruits yourself, don't forget to cover the plant to stop the birds getting them!
