Rubus idaeus Glen Ample®
Raspberry Glen Ample® is one of the best-known summer-fruiting raspberries, famed for its outstanding yields and exceptionally large, firm berries. A floricane variety, it crops heavily on strong, thornless canes from July to August, producing plentiful long, conical fruits with a sweet, aromatic flavour. Its reliable performance has made it a top choice for both home gardeners and commercial growers across the UK.
‘Glen Ample®’ forms tall, upright, almost spine-free canes that are easy to train and harvest from, making it ideal for rows, allotments, and soft fruit gardens. The berries are superb eaten fresh, with a firm texture that also freezes beautifully, and are excellent for jams, baking, desserts and preserving. A vigorous, self-fertile and dependable variety, offering consistent crops year after year.
