Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Bannow Bay'
Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Bannow Bay' is a compact evergreen shrub with glossy, wavy-edged grey-green leaves bordered in creamy white. As the foliage matures, pink tones develop before deepening to rich crimson and burgundy in winter, giving this neat shrub a changing display across the seasons.
Small, honey-scented dark purple flowers may appear in early summer, adding subtle fragrance among the colourful foliage. Its dense, mound-forming habit is ideal for mixed borders, low hedging and patio containers, where it provides lasting structure and an attractive contrast to greener planting.
Easy to maintain, 'Bannow Bay' grows best in full sun or partial shade with fertile, moist but well-drained soil.
