Pinus mugo 'Wintergold'
Pinus 'Wintergold' is a low-growing dwarf conifer forming a dense, bushy mound of soft evergreen needles. Its compact habit provides dependable structure and texture throughout the year.
The foliage is fresh green during spring and summer before changing to a vivid golden-yellow in winter. This dramatic seasonal colour makes it especially valuable for brightening rockeries, borders and containers during the colder months.
Ideal for small gardens, gravel planting, rockeries and patio pots, 'Wintergold' thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It develops into a larger plant than 'Carsten's Wintergold' while remaining slow growing and easy to maintain.
