Pinus mugo 'Pumuckel'
Pinus mugo 'Pumuckel' is a compact dwarf conifer forming a dense, almost spherical mound of short green needles. Its neat shape and rich evergreen foliage provide dependable colour, texture and structure throughout the year.
Slow growing and naturally well branched, 'Pumuckel' gradually develops into an attractive rounded specimen without requiring regular pruning. Its small size makes it especially useful where space is limited.
Ideal for rockeries, gravel gardens, alpine planting and patio containers, this low-maintenance Mountain Pine performs best in full sun and moist but well-drained soil. Growing by approximately 5-8cm each year, it remains compact and manageable.
