Penstemon 'Phoenix Apple Blossom'
Penstemon 'Apple Blossom' is an elegant, clump-forming perennial producing upright spikes of soft pink, tubular flowers above fresh green foliage. The delicate blooms create a gentle, cottage-garden effect and bring reliable colour to summer planting schemes.
Flowering from June into September, this long-performing variety provides valuable nectar for bees and other pollinating insects. Its strong flower stems are also ideal for cutting and adding soft colour to fresh floral arrangements.
Best grown in full sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil, 'Apple Blossom' is ideal for mixed borders, cottage gardens and patio containers. Its dependable garden performance has earned it the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
