Paeonia x hybrid 'Scarlet Heaven'
Paeonia x hybrid 'Scarlet Heaven' is a striking Itoh (Intersectional) Peony, combining the best qualities of both tree and herbaceous peonies. It produces large, eye-catching single to semi-double blooms in a vivid, rich scarlet-red, each centred with a bold cluster of contrasting golden-yellow stamens. The flowers are long lasting and lightly fragrant, held upright on strong stems that require no staking.
Fully hardy and reliable, this exceptional peony forms a neat, rounded mound of finely divided dark green foliage that provides structure throughout the season and attractive autumn colour. Ideal for borders, feature planting, or cutting for the home, it thrives in full sun and well-drained, fertile soil.
