Paeonia x hybrid 'Scarlet Heaven' is a striking Itoh (Intersectional) Peony, combining the best qualities of both tree and herbaceous peonies. It produces large, eye-catching single to semi-double blooms in a vivid, rich scarlet-red, each centred with a bold cluster of contrasting golden-yellow stamens. The flowers are long lasting and lightly fragrant, held upright on strong stems that require no staking.
Fully hardy and reliable, this exceptional peony forms a neat, rounded mound of finely divided dark green foliage that provides structure throughout the season and attractive autumn colour.
