Mukdenia rossii 'Crimson Fans' is a beautiful foliage perennial grown for its distinctive maple-like leaves that emerge fresh green in spring before gradually developing rich crimson-red tones as the season progresses. Forming a dense, spreading mound, it provides outstanding colour, texture and ground-level interest throughout the growing season.
In spring, delicate panicles of small white bell-shaped flowers rise gracefully above the emerging foliage, creating a soft floral display before the dramatic leaves become the main attraction.
