Monstera siltepecana
Monstera siltepecana is an attractive variety of Monstera, featuring silvery-blue juvenile leaves that gradually split and develop fenestrations as the plant matures. Its trailing or climbing habit makes it a versatile statement piece, ideal for shelves, tall plant stands, or trained up a moss pole for a dramatic vertical display.
Thriving in bright rooms with moderate to high humidity, it’s perfectly suited to living rooms, kitchens, or bathrooms where it can enjoy stable warmth and filtered light. Native to the tropical rainforests of Central America, this striking and adaptable species is also an excellent air-purifying plant, helping to refresh indoor air while adding lush greenery to your space.

Monstera Care Sheet
Light: Requires between 6-8 hours of bright but indirect sunlight a day. Low light levels will result in loss of variegation and leggy stems
Water: Water regularly and thoroughly, but ensure pot doesn’t stand in excess water
Soil/Nutrition: Well-draining aroid potting mix with good aeration, feed monthly in spring and summer
Humidity: Will benefit from increased humidity, so mist regularly or group with other plants. Also excellent bathroom or kitchen plant
Pruning and propagation: Remove damaged leaves or leggy stems, and keep leaves clean and dust free by wiping with a damp cloth. Propagate via stem cuttings
