Monstera adansonii
Monstera adansonii 'Monkey Leaf' is a popular tropical houseplant with glossy green leaves perforated by natural oval-shaped holes. Its playful foliage and trailing or climbing habit make it a versatile plant for shelves, hanging baskets, or training up a moss pole.
This compact Monstera is well-suited to smaller homes or apartments, as it grows more delicately than the larger Monstera deliciosa. It thrives in bright, humid rooms such as kitchens or bathrooms, where its lush leaves remain vibrant and healthy. With regular care, it produces vigorous trailing stems that can either cascade elegantly or be supported to climb, giving you flexibility in how you display it.

Light: Requires between 6-8 hours of bright but indirect sunlight a day. Low light levels will result in loss of variegation and leggy stems
Water: Water regularly and thoroughly, but ensure pot doesn’t stand in excess water
Soil/Nutrition: Well-draining aroid potting mix with good aeration, feed monthly in spring and summer
Humidity: Will benefit from increased humidity, so mist regularly or group with other plants. Also excellent bathroom or kitchen plant
Pruning and propagation: Remove damaged leaves or leggy stems, and keep leaves clean and dust free by wiping with a damp cloth. Propagate via stem cuttings
