'Witches Broom' is a compact and unusual form of Purple Moor Grass, forming dense, tufted clumps of upright foliage and slender flower stems. In summer, airy panicles of purplish flowers rise above the foliage, bringing a light, graceful texture to borders. As autumn approaches, the foliage transforms into glowing shades of golden yellow, adding late-season colour. This hardy ornamental grass thrives in moist but well-drained soil and is perfect for naturalistic or prairie-style planting schemes where its neat size and seasonal interest can be fully appreciated.
