Miscanthus sinensis 'Little Zebra'
Miscanthus 'Little Zebra' is a compact, clump-forming ornamental grass known for its distinctive horizontally striped green foliage. The narrow leaves provide strong texture through summer before developing warm yellow and orange tones in autumn. In late summer, airy feathered panicles emerge in shades of pink, ageing to soft silver and adding movement and seasonal interest.
Ideal for smaller gardens or container planting, ‘Little Zebra’ offers the architectural appeal of larger Miscanthus varieties in a more manageable size. Hardy and easy to grow, it thrives in sunny positions with well-drained soil and works beautifully in borders or prairie-style planting schemes.
